A fundraising auction was being held to assist Ashleigh in her overseas based training in Russia in 2011 in May this year. This event has unfortunately been cancelled due to the Christchurch Earthquake and the impact of this event being cancelled will have financial implications for her parents.  Sadly some of the kindly donated vouchers for accommodation, services, restaurants and attractions simply no longer exist in our fabulous city.  Some of the auction items received have been posted on trade me - please search Ashleigh O'Neill on www.trademe.co.nz to see the listings - happy bidding :-)

Ashleigh has been invited by her Russian coach to train and attend some important training camps with other Russian gymnasts in 2011. Whilst there she will have the opportunity to also enter a selection of Russian Competitions as well as being hosted by Cyprus & Greece.
