Schooling
I previously attended Our Lady of the Assumption School for my primary school years. In 2010 I had my first year with the New Zealand Correspondence School Te Kura Pounamu as a year 9 student. I settled well into my first year of independent schooling, enjoying the challenges and the never ending flow of books through the mail. It has been fun to meet other Correspondence School students at the regular group days and I made the most of attending and getting to know other people and their reasons for choosing the Correspondence School.
I am half way through the 2011 school year now, and have just been loaded up with books to take to Russia for when I depart on 13 August. Subjects for this year include English, Maths, Health & Physical Education, Science, Food Technology and Social Studies. On top of this I also study the Russian language with a private tutor once a week, but obviously while in Russia I will be putting what I have learnt into practice. |
